CWC’ Quality System for project management follows ANSI PMBOK ® Standards, best practices and guidelines laid down by the world leader in PMI ®, the Project Management Institute, the American benchmark for excellence, of which Carved Wood Ceilings has staff certified PMP ® (Project Management Professional). We follow the principle structure of the Project Management Body of Knowledge for each phase of the project life cycle.
Over many years we have built up highly specialized knowledge and an understanding of the composition and crafting of intricate geometric shapes in rafter roofs. Through our knowledge of this art and the ongoing work of our research and development team, we are able to optimize our resources to create a manufacturing process that is capable of collaborating on the most important historical restoration projects and to integrate this style of wood craftsmanship to new architectural projects of the highest level on an international scale.
We have dedicated many hours to defining the complicated geometry of Mudéjar art in mathematical formulas for computer design. We use computerized machinery designed specifically for the development of our work and we have developed unique software for their operation.
The computerized system and specialist software allows us to manufacture the many pieces that comprise our work with absolute accuracy ready for assembly, ensuring there are no errors when it comes to installation.
The optimization of the processes and specific machinery used in the manufacturing process means that it is now possible to control production times and the amount of raw material used. Unlike in the past, we can now achieve results at reasonable prices that previously would have been unmanageable.
